Additionally, it has only had one driver, and the two beds have never been used for overnight stays ? nothing more than a jacket has ever been left there. The vehicle was purpose-built for transporting classic cars, from pre-war Horch, Maybach, and Mercedes SSK models up to the 300-series Gullwing. The vehicle was only used to attend events like Goodwood Revival GB, etc. We believe there is no other Atego in such condition; this vehicle could go directly on display in the museum in Stuttgart. All servicing has been carried out without interruption by the same Mercedes-Benz workshop, which has existed for 60 years. The bodywork is lockable all around, the sliding tarpaulins open on both sides, front and rear. The ramp is hydraulically operated at the push of a button. A winch and ample lashing options are available. The 817 drives like a new vehicle. All vehicle documentation is available, from the original drawings to the new vehicle body manufacturer's invoice.
