The TroSLF 16 by Carl Metz was used as a group fire engine designated LF 16-S (special configuration). With a different superstructure, it could carry 560 liters of foam compound and 750 kg of powder, making this vehicle especially versatile. The large loudspeaker on the roof was used for important announcements to plant personnel and the public.
