Chassis - Semi-Trailer for Freight Forwarding
Fine-grain steel welded construction, fifth wheel plate with replaceable 2" kingpin, mounting positions for warning signs at the rear, outer frame with load-lock profile for lashing strap attachment, 24 t two-speed landing gear, single-sided operation, ferry lugs marked in yellow (two at the rear as towing eyes), container locks: 4 pairs of container lock fittings recessed in the floor for either 2 x 20-foot or 1 x 40-foot containers, stake pockets recessed in the outer frame (internal dimension 80 x 80 mm), central stake pockets recessed in the floor (internal dimension 80 x 80 mm), plug-in stanchions B=80 / D=80 / L=1200 mm, hot-dip galvanized, lashing eyes recessed into the outer frame (each rated at 5 t), 2 toolboxes approx. W=1,230 / H=450 mm, fully enclosed, mounted across the full width in front of the axles, replacing side underrun protection, foremost container lock as removable pin, lashing/stanchion rails transversely recessed in the floor across the full width up to the outer frame, approx. 100 mm high, 20 mm round steel rails, top and bottom, spacing between upper and lower rail approx. 60 mm, bottom finished with angle plate, half open downwards. For lashing and inserting 80 x 80 mm stanchions, open compartment for warning boards (as technically feasible).

Axles & Suspension
SAF disc brake axles (axle/chassis laser-aligned) to reduce tire wear and fuel consumption, air suspension, 1st axle is an automatic lift axle, including forced lowering and traction aid, activated by 'braking 3 times', 2 ride heights adjustable via hand control:
- 1 x for coupling height 1120 mm
- 1 x for coupling height 1200 mm

Brake System
2-line compressed air brake system, color-coded piping for easy service, spring brake parking brake, 2 non-interchangeable connectors at the front, EBS (Electronic Brake System) with EBS socket at the front, with lift & lower valve, vehicle stability control system.

Wheels and Tyres
385/65 R 22.5", steel rims, factory silver finish

Electrics
24 Volt, 4 x 3-chamber tail lights, side LED marker lights (yellow),
2 white LED front position lights,
2 rear LED lane-keeping lights (white/red),
2 x 7-pin and 1 x 15-pin non-interchangeable front sockets, without supply cables
Rotating beacon with holder, controlled via parking light (removable lamp)
2 pairs of double warning signs, LED-lit, extendable to 4,500 mm and removable with plug.

Floor
Phenolic plywood approx. 30 mm thick, cross joints with omega inserts, installed on longitudinal stringers, for high point load resistance (forklift axle load up to 7,100 kg max)

Front Wall / Corner Posts
25 mm aluminium hollow section, 1,650 mm high, front corner posts in volume version steel
Inside of front wall additionally lined with 1,250 mm high phenolic plywood
"Crash-Blocker", inner lower section (approx. 140 mm high) with steel impact protection
Storage compartment for 80 x 80 mm plug-in stanchions inside front wall

Frame: Hot-dip galvanized including passivation, or painted as per customer specification
