The crusher is operational. The jaws need to be replaced as they are worn. The engine turbocharger needs to be replaced. A mechanic removed the valve covers to measure compression; compression is good, but this process led to an oil leak at the cylinder head (due to a bolt issue or a missing gasket). The engine cannot be stopped with the ignition key – the shut-off actuator, located in the engine bay, must be pushed manually. Komatsu technicians were never able to adjust the control potentiometer.
