This particular example from 1982 (model series 1980/81) is far more than just a truck – it is a technical cultural asset with a complete and fascinating history.

The journey of this truck began spectacularly: It was delivered to Austria as a geophysical measuring vehicle for ÖMV. After its industrial service, it passed into the hands of an enthusiast. Over the years, the vehicle was completely restored with passion and expertise. The entire rebirth of this giant is documented in detail through an extensive photographic record.

Beneath the cab, a true legend works: a 14-litre Cummins NH230 6-cylinder engine. Here, power comes from displacement. Paired with the legendary Fuller Roadranger RT9509 transmission (9 gears plus Spicer splitter), this truck offers a driving experience that is unmatched today. Anyone who has ever shifted a Roadranger without using the clutch and with perfect double clutching knows what true trucker skills mean.
