Info 100 km/h unbraked:

The following applies: For an unbraked trailer, if you wish to use the 100 km/h speed rating (if this is registered), a factor of 0.3 must be applied between the unladen weight of the towing vehicle and the permissible gross weight of the trailer (worst-case scenario). Therefore, for a 750 kg trailer, you require a towing vehicle with an unladen weight of 750 / 0.3 = 2500 kg.

If that is not the case, you can have the trailer's permissible weight reduced (by TÜV). For example, if your towing vehicle has an unladen weight of 1600 kg, the trailer must be reduced to 1600 x 0.3 = 480 kg. You must then manage with the remaining payload for every towing vehicle and at any speed.

Furthermore, the permissible gross weight of the trailer must not exceed the unbraked towing capacity entered in the vehicle registration (O2).

Note on LED:

On some car models, the LED trailer lights may not function properly. This situation most often occurs with newer car models and is caused by the low power consumption of LED technology. To ensure that trailer lights work correctly, the vehicle or towbar must be equipped with an additional module that supports LED lighting. Lorries does not include this module in production trailers.
