This Scania L8046-BEK Vabis tipper from 1968 is in original and good condition and is built on a heavy ladder frame chassis with leaf spring suspension, designed for high loading capacities and long service life.
The L-series was the last generation of Scania vehicles with the distinctive bonnet before changing over to cab-over-engine cabs.
Despite this change, the L models remained in production for many years.
The robust L-series trucks were popular in road construction, sand and gravel transport, and heavy local haulage, and were known for their strong chassis, straightforward engineering, and high traction.
Many of these models easily covered more than one million kilometers, contributing to Scania’s reputation for durability.
