Vehicle Description
Chassis – New Vehicle: 2025 NEW MODEL
• Manufacturer/Type: Volvo FH500 6x4, Wheelbase 3700 mm
• Fifth wheel with sliding mechanism and self-lubricating system (Jost JSK type), mounted on a subframe
• Rearview camera fully installed.
Superstructure:
• Execution of all necessary chassis modifications for crane installation, including removal and reinstallation of add-on components, exhaust system, tanks, etc. Modification of the vehicle frame as required.
• All chassis and superstructure works comply with the respective bodybuilder guidelines provided by the chassis manufacturer and are carried out to the highest quality standards.
• Complete assembly of a proprietary, in-house designed and manufactured special subframe made of high-tensile fine-grain steel, intended for crane and superstructure installation. The welded and bolted subframe guarantees extreme torsional rigidity and optimal stability for crane operations. The unique feature is the special subframe design. Executed to the highest quality, painted in chassis color.
• Mounting/bolting of the crane and main outrigger support to the subframe. Installation of all hydraulic and electrical connections. Mounting location: front
• Drop-side body constructed as a removable welded steel structure
• Length approx. 380 cm, width approx. 248 cm
• Body painted, color shade as per RAL (chassis color)
• Removable aluminium drop sides, Suer brand, height 600 mm, anodized finish, with stair steps, removable "Kinngripp" stanchions.
• Standard body floor with welded 4 mm steel checker plate, painted in RAL (chassis color)
• 6 recessed lashing rings, 2500 daN each side, flexible positioning in slotted profiles
• 4 chain anchorage points, 6500 daN (2x front, 2x rear of the body)
• Robust bulkhead made of welded frame with 4 mm welded steel plate and 5 accessory hooks, bulkhead height approx. 1300 mm, steel painted finish, with 2 foldable lashing eyes for tie-down straps
• Cladding panels and mudguards made of aluminium checker plate (sandblasted, powder-coated and painted) – please specify RAL color
• 2 BROSSBOX toolboxes, aluminium checker plate version (sandblasted, powder-coated and painted) – please specify RAL color. Size and placement depend on wheelbase and available space
• 1 BROSSBOX toolbox between crane and bulkhead
• Multifix stanchion pockets, 2 rows (as agreed), distance approximately 80 cm from front and rear bulkhead
• Holders (for outrigger pads, crane plates) made of galvanized steel
• Additional stabilizer fitted under the chassis
• Installation of a rear underrun protection and additional stabilizer, with hydraulic and electrical connections
