The hydrostatic transmission is designed to power both the suction blower and the vehicle. A switch controls variable pumps and motors to achieve the desired output. The power take-off shaft of the hydrostatic transmission drives two gear-mounted motors. When the hydrostatic transmission is engaged, all power is transmitted via hydraulic oil. The pumps for vehicle propulsion and the fan motor are controlled by the HTC unit, which consists of a computer with a display in the driver’s cab. The HTC system automatically regulates engine speed and hydraulic pressure for optimal performance. The computer also monitors all oil pressures, temperatures, and speeds to ensure they remain within the required range.
