O.ME.P.S Silo Trailer – Type: CM 35 (Horizontal Silo)

Axles and Suspension:
Disc brakes 22.5", SAF axle assemblies 3x 9t with air suspension, axle spacing is 2 x 1310 mm, raising and lowering valve, loading pressure gauge on top of the tank, Wabco Smartboard, Wabco tire pressure monitoring, first axle liftable without tractor equipment, third axle liftable with Wabco Optiturn.

Wheels and Tyres:
6 wheels with 385/65 R22.5 tyres, as per manufacturer’s selection mounted on Alcoa Ultra One aluminium rims, size 11.75x22.5 ET 120.

Brake System:
EBS 4S/2M WABCO pneumatic braking system with RSS, in accordance with standard 98/12/CE - ECE R13/09, brake pad wear indicator connected.

Landing Legs:
Mechanical landing legs with two speeds, 2x 20t support load with pivoting foot.

Electrical System:
All lighting in LED design, 24 Volt electrical installation consisting of: a 15-pin socket mounted in front of the fifth wheel on the chassis beam, yellow side marker lights in the required number, rear position lights, front marker lights, rear license plate lights, lighting as per standard 97/28/CE-2007/35/CE, 2 multi-chamber rear lights mounted at the height of the pivot bearing in aluminium brackets as per standard 97/28/CE-2007/35/CE, 2 rotatable LED work lights on the upper left and right sides of the container, yellow warning light at the rear mounted at hose pipe level, 2x reverse lights in the underrun protection, 2x reverse lights at support leg height (each can be switched off on the energy console).

Tank Construction:
A horizontal tank made of aluminium alloy (AW5083 Peraluman 45 AlMg 4.5 Mn). A single-chamber tank with 35,000 ltr. capacity, tank warranty: 24 months from delivery. Kingpin 2” as per standard 94/20/CE.

Operating Parameters:
Pressure vessel according to Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/CE. Wall thickness approx. 5 mm, test pressure 3.0 bar, operating pressure 2.0 bar, operating temperature -40° to +80°C.

Filling Options:

3 manholes DN 450 with hinged and foldable domed covers. Dome covers are closed pressure-tight with 4 wing nuts each, support for domed covers on top for storage, rain gutter in front closed – rear open.

Material Outlet:
2 material discharge cones with synthetic fabric as a fluidization insert, individual discharge pipes DN 100 made of steel routed to the rear, 2 pinch valves DN 100 AKO in the pipes, final ball valve DN 100 with ring nozzle, remote control for the final ball valve and Storz A coupling at the end of discharge line.

Air Piping:
One 2.5” stainless steel air manifold installed on the RIGHT operating side. The airline is routed forward, up to the end of the silo with non-return valve and connecting hose DN 65 for compressor with Storz-B coupling. The air manifold has ball valves for top air, auxiliary air and fluidization. Top air 2” at rear right, PRESSURE PIPE INLET REAR RIGHT, external air connection Storz C at air pipe rear RIGHT, pneumatic connection with blow-off gun and spiral hose on top walkway in the area of the access ladder, 1x vibrator on top of the tank, air line at the top centre of the walkway for cleaning with pistol, air line at the bottom in the storage box for cleaning with pistol.

Ladder and Access:
