10-Foot Container Sauna

Mobile outdoor sauna based on a 10-foot sea container (external dimensions approx. 3.0 m length × 2.44 m width × 2.59 m height), converted into a fully equipped sauna featuring a glass front, multi-level benches, and technical installations. The construction retains the robust steel structure of the container as a weather-resistant outer frame, complemented by premium wood fittings, insulation, and glass glazing for optimal outdoor use. It is stackable, portable, and designed for use on level ground without the need for a foundation.

Basic Structure and Exterior

* Container made of powder-coated steel (anthracite grey) with ISO corner fittings and reinforced profiles for stability and weather resistance.
* Fully open longitudinal side with a three-part glass front made of clear safety glass (sliding doors with stainless steel handles and floor seal) for panoramic views and natural light.
* External installations: Cold water column with tap and ball valve as well as optional shower with hand shower, ventilation opening with grill at the base of the container.

Interior and Sauna Layout
Walls, ceiling, and floors fully clad with thermally treated wood (e.g. spruce or aspen, light natural colour) in 14-20 mm thickness, three-tier seating benches with backrests and footrest grating.
* Step configuration: Lower bench approx. 40 cm high, middle approx. 90 cm, top approx. 140 cm, ventilated slat construction for air circulation and comfort.
* Floor with sealed wooden planks and drain, small headrest, and integrated stone unit at the heater.

Technology and Equipment
Electric sauna heater (approx. 6-9 kW) with stone basket (about 20 kg of olivine stones), control panel on wall, and automatic overheat protection.
* Ventilation: Supply and exhaust air vents with sliders (inside and outside), smoke vent and grill on ceiling/wall, indirect LED lighting behind benches.
* Electrical installation: Protected cabling with switches for heater and lights, integrated thermometer and hygrometer.

Installation and Mobility

Placed on container supports directly on gravel/concrete, total weight approx. 1,200-1,800 kg, ventilated and drained.
* Transport possible by forklift or crane, weather-protected seals on all openings.
