MERCEDES-BENZ Vario 814D Diff Klima Standh120km/h restauriert

Restored and newly repainted MB Vario 814D from government ownership / Federal Police
Configured as a bus (group vehicle) MR / high with full air conditioning, auxiliary heater,
ABS and rear axle differential lock, as well as a retarder,
which is an electric, wear-free eddy-current brake for speed control.

The bodywork was professionally overhauled and, except for the roof, repainted
in a two-tone grey/white finish.
Windows and doors were removed, dismantled, and preserved after painting.
The frame and chassis parts were also thoroughly de-rusted and professionally repainted
with a multilayer paint system.

Technically, we have carried out an inspection with engine oil and brake fluid changes,
as well as replaced all 4 batteries. Furthermore, we have repaired the air conditioning and auxiliary heating,
and replaced the plastic glazing in the driver's cab with real glass.

Thanks to the good insulating properties, the plastic glazing has been retained in the rear vehicle section.

This Vario is now ready for the next years of service.

The air conditioning and auxiliary heating are particularly effective:

1.) The air conditioning system has two evaporators and vents above every seat in the passenger compartment.
2.) The auxiliary heater is a hot-water circulation system with convectors in the passenger area for draft-free heating.

Maximum speed Vmax according to documents: 120 km/h

Total of 11 seats; the seats in the passenger area are lounge chairs—
with adjustable backrests and armrests. Additionally, the left inner seats
can be moved about 10 cm into the aisle on their console for greater freedom of movement.
There are a total of three effective roof hatches.

For an additional charge of €750, we can technically convert it to a special purpose vehicle (SoKFZ) motorhome if seats are removed.
Due to space constraints, up to 8 seats are possible in this setup.
In this case, the Vario will also be equipped with a 220V external power supply connection.
