Interesting Mercedes-Benz Vario 814 D as a Maxi panel van with a versatile double cab: 6 seats or alternatively 2 seats and 2 sleeping berths. The cargo area is equipped with built-in shelving and a workbench.

The vehicle features two additional swing doors on the right side, with the partition wall to the cargo area positioned in between.

This vehicle comes directly from the federal police and was built by the body manufacturer Christian Miesen.

The bodywork still shows some rust damage on the retrofitted doors and hatches, but the rocker panels and frame are clean and in good condition. For an additional fee, we can professionally repair the bodywork and, if desired, carry out partial repainting. We can also perform maintenance work and fit new tires upon request.

We have already replaced the starter batteries and test driven the vehicle – it runs very well. Engine, transmission, and rear axle are dry.

It has a long rear axle with differential lock, gear ratio 40:11 (I=3.636). According to the paperwork, the Vario reaches 124 km/h and is not speed-limited.

From March 2028, historic vehicle registration will be possible, reducing annual vehicle tax to just €195.

1) Maintenance: includes engine oil and brake fluid change, plus new drag link and steering tie rod – from €900 incl. VAT
2) Tires: outdated; on request, 6 new 205/75 R22.5 124/122 M M+S tires, including installation – from €1,400 incl. VAT
3) Bodywork: repairs on large left hatch, rear panel, and additional right swing door – from €3,500 incl. VAT
4) Paint polish: all visible exterior surfaces except middle roof section – €800 incl. VAT
5) TÜV inspection (MOT/Emissions) including technical conversion of vehicle type (currently still "special purpose police vehicle") – €450 incl. VAT
