Interesting MB Vario 814 D panel van (Maxi) with variable double cab – accommodates either 6 seats, or 2 seats plus 2 sleeping berths. In the center of the vehicle, there is a living area with kitchen and toilet/washroom. The rear section of the cargo area features integrated shelving and a workbench.

On the right-hand side, the vehicle has two additional hinged doors with a partition wall between them and the cargo area.

This vehicle comes directly from the Federal Police and was converted by the coachbuilder Christian Miesen for use as a diver support vehicle.

The body still has some rust damage on the retrofit doors and hatches; however, the sills and frame are clean and in good condition. For an additional fee, we can professionally repair the bodywork and, upon request, partially repaint it. We also offer maintenance services and can install new tires as required.

The starter batteries have already been renewed and we have test-driven the vehicle – it runs very well.
Engine, transmission, and rear axle are dry.

The vehicle is equipped with a long rear axle and differential lock, axle ratio 40:11 (i= 3.636). According to the documents, the Vario reaches 124 km/h and there is no speed limiter installed.

From March 2028, it will be eligible for historic vehicle registration (Oldtimer), reducing annual road tax to just €195.

Repair packages in our workshop available at extra cost:
1.) Maintenance: incl. engine oil and brake fluid change, new drag link = from €900 incl. VAT
2.) Tires: currently outdated, if requested 6 new tires (205/75 R22.5 124/122 M M+S) incl. fitting = from €1,400 incl. VAT
3.) Bodywork: Repairs under gas compartment and other hatches (left), under additional right-side door and hatches (right) = from €4,500 incl. VAT
4.) Exterior polish: around all visible areas except middle roof section = €800 incl. VAT
5.) TÜV inspection, emissions test, and technical vehicle type change (currently Special Purpose Vehicle - Police) = €450 incl. VAT
