Mercedes-Benz 1019 AF 4x4

Offered for sale is a Daimler-Benz fire truck – model 1019 AF with all-wheel drive. This NG-series vehicle comes directly from active service with the volunteer fire department. Regular technical maintenance and inspections have naturally been carried out, making this vehicle an ideal candidate for continued use (e.g., as a classic vehicle, expedition truck, motorhome, etc.).

Currently, it is configured as an LF16 with a built-in FP 16/8 pump and an 860-litre water tank (all fully operational).
Tow coupling present: Type 51-G 210.
Double cab with a total of 9 registered seats.
Note: The radio and additional fire-fighting equipment have been removed. Blue lights must be covered or removed for civilian use.

Tyres: 6x – Uniroyal M+S with approx. 90% tread (approx. 14mm left)
Battery set: 2x 12V/120Ah (replaced Sep 2020)

The general inspection (HU) and safety inspection (SP) were carried out in April 2025 with the result "no defects detected":
-> next safety inspection: April 2026
-> next general inspection: April 2027
Mileage: only 17,710 km (the vehicle is still in occasional use, so mileage might slightly increase)
Engine displacement: 9,506 cc (large-displacement, high-performance diesel engine)

Top speed: 92 km/h (long final drive ratio reduces engine revs at maximum permitted motorway speed)

This 1019 was delivered by Daimler-Benz to the body builder Ziegler in September 1978. First registration as LF16 and commissioning took place on 30.04.1979.
