1st hand – German voluntary fire brigade vehicle.
TÜV renewed until 03/2028.
Inspection according to §23 StVZO in connection with §21 StVZO as 'historic vehicle, special vehicle fire brigade equipment truck' (for H-registration) dated 09/03/2026 is available.
Full service completed in February 2026.
Garaged and deregistered as of 26/08/2025, up to that point always registered to the original owner with both the original registration certificate and even the first vehicle registration from 1989.
Only 21,000 total kilometers driven.
Very sound Bremer Transporter T1 in the medium-length version with the factory steel high roof.
Body condition in detail: only 2 rust spots (rear right wheel arch and left side panel). Nothing beyond that. None of the 'typical Bremer rust spots' – all of these are clean on this example and have not been reworked to date. Only the front right wheel arch has already been repaired. Normal signs of use are present. The underbody is also in good condition.
This 308 D was sold to us by the first-owner municipality as explicitly 'accident-free.'
As-new winter tyres (DOT 2022).
High 270-degree rear doors and fog lights, stabilizer on the rear axle and reinforced shock absorbers.
Otherwise, this is an absolute basic version: no seatbelts, no power steering, no ABS. Pure 1980s, when reliable, long-lasting vehicles were still being built. There is little that can go wrong here.
Engine: OM 601 4-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel, 79 hp.
5-speed manual gearbox.
127 km/h top speed officially registered.
A large mechanical step extends when opening the sliding door.
The vehicle was used by the fire brigade as an equipment carrier (GW) and is fitted with shelving units that can be easily removed if not needed.
Conversion manufacturer: Hermann Schmitz KG in 5901 Wilnsdorf near Siegen.

Registered as 'Other motor vehicle fire brigade.'
Unladen weight: 2,320 kg (including all fittings).
Permissible total weight – unchanged from factory to present – 3,500 kg.
This means that the 308 D-KA can be immediately driven with the new car driving licence (B category).
The special signaling system was already removed by the fire department before sale and is no longer available.
The vehicle runs excellently, and the transfer journey on the motorway was a real joy.
This offer is valid only for businesses or public authorities. Subject to prior sale and errors.
The purchase price is the final price, gross = net. Differential taxation according to §25a UStG as a government vehicle. 19% VAT will NOT be added, but the VAT portion also cannot be separately listed or deducted from the purchase price.
