An automatic Oyster Vision satellite system was retrofitted three years ago. Age-related wear is present. To the best of my knowledge, nothing requires extensive specialist skills to repair. There are isolated spots of edge rust on the exterior. The hard plastic bumpers have minor non-inspection-relevant cracks in two places. The habitation door shows rust at the bottom. The rest of the body is GRP to my knowledge, and thus rust-free. No moisture ingress has been detected when cleaning with a pressure washer. There are cracks in the shower tray inside the wet cell. Otherwise, the interior is in excellent condition—a typical Karmann. With continued proper care, the vehicle can be registered as a classic in less than 2 years, removing restrictions due to the yellow emissions sticker and significantly reducing tax.
