Ambience meets functionality and comfort

The Marecamper 2.0, based on MAN / Crafter / Sprinter / Ducato platforms, was developed and designed with the goal of creating a functional, high-quality built campervan that seamlessly combines all essential features for couples travelling together. Only the finest, natural materials and components are primarily used throughout the build.

The ceilings and walls are insulated and then covered with 2mm pure natural wool felt, available in various colours. This significantly enhances the sense of well-being and provides superior acoustics and tactile quality. The inviting ambience is further elevated by an elaborate, dimmable 5-zone lighting concept ensuring the right lighting for any mood. Overhead cabinets are also internally illuminated, so every area of the Marecamper can be lit individually. All installed LEDs are warm white, providing flicker-free, continuous illumination.

We have intentionally excluded a fixed toilet/shower room to maximise space for comfortable stays during bad weather or in the evenings. Our toilet solution is a portable chemical dry toilet, stowed away in a dedicated compartment when not in use.

This also enables a flexible table-to-bed design that is unique in its practicality. For dining or leisure, you can sit across from each other at the table, with easy access provided by a clever foldable table mechanism. The seating width is a comfortable 70cm. Seat covers are made from high-quality fabrics/leather, and the cushions feature a dual-layer specialty foam for optimal seating comfort.

When it’s time to sleep, the table can be hung on the kitchen unit, allowing one person to still use it with the swivel seat while the other is already in bed. The bed base simply extends over the seating group, and the mattress folds out. This provides a premium bed on a 6m vehicle, complete with a made-to-measure luxury mattress in a 160x200cm longitudinal sleeping arrangement. It doesn't get better than this!
