Winterproof, self-sufficient Hymer T 654 SL Gold Edition

Regrettably, we have to part with our beloved motorhome "OTTO" for personal reasons and have switched to a caravan instead.
For the past 6 years, it has never let us down on over 80 trips – it's a Hymer with a quality you just don't find nowadays.

We had the motorhome's interior customized, for example, to give us more leg room in the bathroom or so that you can watch TV both from the cab and from the bed.
Additionally, the vehicle is winterproof, meaning you can set off straight away. The wall thickness of the coachwork is 9 cm (see photo) and both the grey water and fresh water tanks are insulated.

A 330-watt photovoltaic system is mounted on the roof, with a 110 Ah lithium battery installed in the body. We had both professionally installed 6 years ago and they are still in top condition. The battery has only 44 charge cycles, and theoretically 500 to 1500 are possible. The charge controller's condition, as well as the battery's charge status, can be checked by smartphone.

Since the fridge can also run on gas and a second toilet cassette is included, you can stay completely off-grid anywhere, anytime.
There is also an inflatable awning by Obelink, which can be easily attached to the existing awning.

The motorhome features a large refrigerator, a freezer compartment, and an oven.
For cooking, there's a 3-burner gas cooker with a built-in extractor hood above.
The bed measures 140x200 cm and the dinette can be easily converted into an additional bed measuring 120x200 cm, so up to four people can travel comfortably.
A radio with Bluetooth, dedicated navigation for motorhomes, and a reversing camera are, of course, also included.

The vehicle was serviced annually each spring!

Due to its age, there are 2 minor cosmetic flaws:
- Some minor clear coat chipping on the bonnet (painter’s estimate €500). There is no rust or similar, it just doesn’t look perfect.
- Two blackout blinds are defective; instead, we use lightproof curtains, which actually provide even better blackout than the original blinds. The insect screens, of course, still work perfectly.
